Our units are manufactured brand new at our factory in Gauteng and delivered to your premises.

How We Do It

Our modular units are built at our factory and delivered to your site for installation. The units are designed for maximum comfort and safety, while still being visually appealing and fit for modern living.

They have a low impact on the environment in which they are placed and have been designed according to architectural guidelines. Our company is registered with the NHBRC as an accredited home builder to provide for our clients’ peace of mind.

1. The Unit

How are the units made?

Our units are modular structures, prefabricated in full at our premises, with finished wall, floor and roof panels

What approvals do I need?

Our living pods are designed with an architect’s involvement and comply with the requirements for habitable living spaces. We also provide the necessary compliance certificates for gas and electrical installations
We recommend that you confirm specific requirements for approval with your local council

Can I connect the container to municipal services (water, waste and electricity)?

Yes, the unit is ready for external water, waste and electrical connections
The internal electricity and plumbing connections come complete with the unit – external connection needs to be supplied by the client on site

How is the container installed?

The units are transported by truck, placed and levelled on site and connected to the necessary services

Can I install a unit on a rocky or uneven surface?

Yes, the units are designed with adjustable feet, which ensures that the container can be placed on almost any surface and levelled from there

Is the unit weatherproof (wind, water)?

Yes, the units are very durable

Are the containers insulated?

Yes, all our containers are highly insulated. Double glazed windows also standard in all our builds

Are appliances included?

All units include a 2 burner gas stove and constant temperature gas geyser

Are you registered with the NHBRC?

2. The Process

How much does a container studio living pod cost?

We have a range of options to suit any budget

How long does it take to build and deliver a container unit?

Most units are ready 6-8 weeks from order to delivery

How do I order

Contacting one of our team members is your first step toward ordering your container living pod. We will ensure the product meets your requirements, provide you with final pricing and answer any questions you might have. Once you are ready to move forward, we require a deposit after which we will begin the build process

What is the payment structure?

Our standard agreement states 70% on placement of order and 30% on inspection before delivery

Do you have delivery options?

Yes, we do offer delivery at an additional charge

Do you do custom builds?

We have designed standard models to maximize both the functionality of the living space as well as the cost efficiency. We do not perform custom builds at this time as our goal is to offer a premier product at an affordable price point
